The Jungle
Ghost EMERGENCY REPAIR AND RESCUE Card comes on a Special 4GB or 8GB SanDisk Card for the Magellan Triton 1500
and 2000 Navigation GPS Series. This is your insurance policy for normal operating
problems.

WORRY ABOUT BRICKING YOUR UNIT AGAIN AND ALSO HAVE A BACKUP GPS/TOPO PROGRAM THAT YOU CAN
USE TO MAKE WORLDWIDE MAPS.
This card can store your Vector and Raster TOPO Maps, Audio
Recordings, Music, and Photo Images because it is a 4GB Card but we added some very
special software that can help you.
This
is the Amazing Card that provides your GPS with Redundant Backup.
We
took our specially formatted Memory card. The ones we use for faster speed of access
and storage of more files on your Triton and added software to the card to assist your GPS
work. You now have available an amazing card with additional software that will
allow you to:
1) Boot
up the Magellan and the EMERGENCY
REPAIR TM AND RESCUE card analyzes your
present software for corrupt files. After all you would NOT like to backup corrupt
files that will be of little value to you in an emergency. Then you can perform Step
2 safely.
2)
"Repair" Your GPS. That's right! You can copy all the hidden and system
files in your GPS and store them on your EMERGENCY REPAIR
TM AND
RESCUE card for later retrieval if you accidentally "Brick" your unit.
3) We Supply Two Jungle
Ghost USA TOPO maps with Street Names. As you know most State TOPO maps for the Magellan Triton are
priced between $85.00 - $99.00 for each State and these expensive maps do not even come
with Street Names. You choose Three (3)
States of Your Choice.
4) We have added a Better Detailed Basemap of North America.
5) We have reformatted the
card for Maximum Speed and Efficiency to remove the sluggishness associated with Map
Panning. This way the card will allow you to Store More Files on it.
6)
We added a backup GPS/TOPO software [OziCeExplorer Trial Version is Installed] that will
allow you to make maps for anywhere in the world. This eliminates your
dependence on using only proprietary Magellan Maps and can be your BACKUP GPS/TOPO should
your Magellan Software Fail. We will supply you with the links to a list of global
map sources.
This
specially loaded Flash Card will only work with your GPS and on Magellan 1500 and 2000
units ONLY.

Thank you for clarifying your request. We sell Worldwide BASEMAPS which
include Canada, Central America and South America. Our Basemap for the USA is already
provided with the purchase of a SDHC card. By the way, Basemaps would have to configured
to only work on your GPS and could not be transferred to another GPS. We charge $10.99 for
each Basemaps. South America, Central America and Canada would be considered Three (3)
maps. Another point of information is that we just purchased some new Basemaps and they
are really sparse on South and Central America .. but OK for Canada. As further
information .. Europe is divided into Two maps, Africa is one, Japan is one, Scandanavia
is one, China is one .. Southeast Asia is one ... just tell us what you need. If you need
more maps than please tell us which ones so that we can post a private auction for you.

No .. the Emergency Repair Card does not violate any Magellan Warranty
because you are not changing the Magellan Software. The card is now available in 2GB, 4GB

How large of an SD card do I need? |

The
size of the SDHC card is dependent on three different scenarios: 1) If you are discussing
a T500 then a 2GB or 4GB card is large enough for your state files and other things like
continuous storage of tracks. 2) For the T1500 has the same requirement as a T500 plus the
need for audio (music)and (recording) .. so you can use a 4GB and also have room for the
Emergency Repair and Rescue Software. 3) The T2000 has an entirely different storage
requirement.. You need to prepare for storing photo's and audio (music and recording) so
even though a 4GB or 8GB will do.. We recommend the 8GB for all plus our Emergency Repair

this card come with the basemap at the your price? Does this include 2 state topo maps
(1:24000) as well or do I have to buy the states seperately? How do I specify which states
when ordering? |

Our
SDHC cards come with a Better Detailed Basemap of North America, and two (2) Jungle Ghost
USA STATE TOPO maps with street names installed on the card. All included in the price.
The TOPO maps have resolution from approximately 1:15000 up to approx 1:150000+ In
Magellan Zoom language this is from 100 feet up to over 1 mile. On the new FW releases you
will see our TOPO maps blend into the BASEMAP we give you as you proceed higher in zoom.
After you place the order we will confirm the order and ask you to reconfirm your mailing
address, gps serial number and which states you wish. This offering is a COMPLETE PACKAGE
and there are NO HIDDEN FEES. JG |
